Shhh. We need a UK Oppo to get it, *then* we can steal it.

It might not make sense for me to get one as far away as the UK (although I might make an exception if it was a Chamois).

I wonder if anyone has built a camper out of Imp van.

It might have to be lengthened for that for anything other than a little person. A stretched Imp would be a wonder in its own right.

Also, have you looked at my wheels post? There’s a question in it best answered by a steelies cultist.

Hold my space save I’m going in!

That’s pretty weird van. I don’t expect it to have very high payload.

The former owner of my house was an Imp enthusiast but a bit surprisingly I haven’t found a single Imp part from anywhere.

At least a Mini van makes some measure of sense, as the back space is all contiguous. With this, all the load area has to be shared with the engine, and there’s a whole trunk/boot up front that’s not connected. The only thing that makes sense that comes to mind is maybe a fragrance sales van (perfume in back, cologne in front?) or a florist/decorator - flowers in back, fruit baskets in front. I don’t know, really, it’s a rather odd vehicle.

What a curious idea. As it happens I’m looking for a floristry vehicle, although I was concentrating on Piaggio Apes.

Are you mad enough to try getting a bastardized Imp? It’d be distinctive, at least. Supposedly a tall person can move the seat back to an alternate set of mounting holes on these (!) and the seat pitches forward as it goes back and down, so there is some accommodation for people like you or I.

Distinctive is what I need. I have an added bonus in that the vehicle doesn’t actually need to run, rather it will be a pop-up type affair sat in the grounds of (a) venue for 6-8 months of the year, then (b) venue for the remainder. I can just trailer it to and fro. That said, unique as it is, it's at £1,600 with 5 days to go.
